First day of school today, well technically, school started yesterday but class got cancelled so today... i made my way down for class at 8.30a.m...
It seems like summer never came, i get used to the busy varsity life so easily its freaky...
8.30 class to 11.45a.m, meet kenneth for lunch and hang out studying till 3.00p.m. Went round buying books before going for another class at 3.30, class ends at 6.45p.m and i went to help out Vivace...
Such a long day but im not tired at all... in fact, my mind is still reeling from all the probable term papers and questions i need to tackle and im still swarmed with the amount of work i have to do...
I suppose i may have felt guilty bout deserting being a senior faci (and Vivace planning committee, and SMUicon meetings and committee service projects among many other things...) thus leading me to sign up to help Vivace, just wanna feel like helping them out those that i have "deserted" someway or the other... besides, they're seriously short on manpower... oh well... free shirt at least... =P
I need some advice... Should i take 6 Credits? Its killer yes i know... but come on, what have i not done right? 5 finals in one term, taking 6 modules in one term... 6 credits is the only logical progression of academic madness... still, that is beside the point... I should really slow down. Today's pace was too fast, it was insane... i'll break if this continues...
Well, plenty of stuff to think about and well.. not that plenty of time to think it all through but i'll manage... no matter how busy or stress i get, no matter how clogged with deadlines i have, no matter how many exams i have to study for, somehow... like all other university students... in the end... i'll still manage...

Through the use of ellipses I detect an underlying menacing tone in the language that the author adopts here. It signals the presence of something ominous that is as yet unidentified, but we shall give it the codename "Exams".
The repetition towards the end of the passage also emphasises the atmosphere of melancholy that pervades throughout, and prompts a disconcerting effect upon the reader.
The author also uses "stationery imagery" to highlight the theme of Education vs Enjoyment, and objects like "paper" seek to create a stifling and oppressive environment.
Dark humour is also present here, most notably in the use of the smiley "=P".
The passage, however, closes on a hopeful note, and it is my opinion that the writer needs to seek an audience with The Band Of Goblins.
Wow, prac crit on my post...
I do agree with you my friend on many points however, just want to clarify the ending closes not on a hopeful note but rather one thats filled with resignation.
And yes, i do believe an audience with the Band of Goblins is needed, may i enquire a time and place which might serve such a purpose?
