So here I am, in another cafe around town, trying to study.
It has not been rather productive lately I'm afraid. Been absolutely lazy.
Sunday marked the first SUNNY day of the year. It was a celebratory day I tell you. People were all excited it was going to be sunny and the weather reported a cool 19 degrees with sunshine galore. Friends started planning outdoor sports and people made plans for picnic and cycling. I was going to spend it all alone studying and finishing my work unfortunately.
But that was not the case. Sudden turn of events and a rather lackadaisical start to the morning made me realize the day was not to be wasted! Got onto the nearest tube and headed to Greenwich park and soaked right into the cool grass. Bought sushi and some lemonade and presto, an impromptu picnic complete with ipad-kindle to read and nap in the sunshine. And yes, no ants or bugs that comes crawling out.
Seems like the whole of London shared similar thoughts, look at everyone else lying on the grass next to us, family, couples, singles all being one with nature. That was a truly relaxing sunday. We were there for so long, we even fell asleep on the grass. Cool breeze gently touching caressing your skin and whispering through your hair, the soft grass below and the sweet scent of the meadow... Now, you can't get that in Singapore can you? :)

Saturday was spent rather fruitfully, a little bit of yoga, a little bit of market shopping and then oxford street shopping and then a house party with home cooked meal by Mr Chef - Veal with Spelt. First time trying Spelt, kinda like it. It's like a mixture of rice and barley, nice!
