There are some people who make you so ridiculously happy, you just beam when you see them, or you just become so animated whilst talking to them. These are the ones who makes you fly, who makes you laugh, whom u call out to have a good time. They are the ones that you party with, they are the ones that you just cant stop grinning to, they are the ones you just automatically smile when the sms comes in and you see their names flashing on the screen.
Then there are some people who are your confidantes. They are not necessarily the ones who make you happy, but they definitely the ones that make you feel safe and comfortable. These are the ones who dont judge you, who listens, and then they are the ones that you cry to, they are the ones that you run to when you have any troubles. These are the support groups, your closest groups of friends. These are the ones you can sit down for hours and hours just talking anf you wont ever feel bored with them and theres always something to say.
And then there are people who are "eye candy". They are the ones you look up to, or proud to have as a friend. Not talking about looks or materialistic assets here, more of its so nice being around them, they may not make you feel extremely happy, you may not share secrets to them, but yet, just being near them makes you feel good. They have some traits that you wish to have or you just admire them so much for having. Sometimes, they do cross roles to become "happy" people or "confidante" people, and when they do, it just makes being with them even more awesome. You just like them so much and you cant even explain why!
And then we have the people who are your gurus, advisors, your source of rootedness. If you're flying too high or clowning away, they are the ones who bring you back. They are the ones you look up to and they are also your side mirrors in life, alarming you to possible obstacles and challenges along the way. You dont need to be close to them to know they will still be there for you regardless. And these are true friends who knock some sense into you when you get too hopeful, these are the ones who give u solutions when you have no idea where to start, these are the ones you know that everytime you talk to them, you'll come out learning something new.
And then there are strangers, acquaintances to be exact. there's a whole unknown area to them. sometimes you want to know more, sometimes you dont. Once in a while, when the timing is right, when the mood is there, they open up and you're happy they did. But strangers are special, these people are the ones you have no fear of the consequences and you do what you want. you become bolder, more outspoken, more frank. And these are the ones that catch you off gaurd, they are the ones that surprises you the most, and sometimes, things they do just makes you raise an eyebrow and bite back a smile because they are just so fresh, so new, so utterly adorable.
Most of the time, roles are reversible, inter-exchangable, fluid. They can be combined, merged, intertwined.
