my paper, my nemesis.

I'm trying to do my report on research methods in social sciences. i know i know, it sounds painful.

Im suppose to come up with 3 different research questions for my paper and i notice that the questions i pose are very pertinent to my own warped thinking of the world.

1. i wanted to write everyone is gay (i know i've shared my logic with some friends who insistently refuse to believe it. but face it we are)

2. why women cry and why men lie (but i can't justify any experiments for it and i cant tell prof that i ripped my research question from a fact book)

3. men who go to army come out stupider than they were before (i can show real life examples just dont know how to fit them into paper)

so i just settled for normal things that i would be interested in finding out for myself but have neither the time nor the resources to do so. besides, i have friends who are living testimony or contradiction ;) to these questions. and i do believe ignorance is bliss sometimes (though not all the time) and some things are just worth finding out slowly.

My research questions i finally settled upon:

1. does studying with music really help? (my own opinion: i dont think so, its the distraction la)
2. are men better drivers than women? (my own opinion: yes they are but not all of them are)
3. does army impact a person's sense of responsibility meaning
a) people who have gone to army would be more responsible than those who do not
b) people who have higher ranks in army would be more responsible than those with lower ranks (my own opinion: i agree to some extent but i emphasize that it has more to do with opportunities given rather than character-wise. besides, they may be more responsible, but, still doesnt account for stupidity. for that it may be directly related :p)

i like doing individual reports, i can write what i want (and digress sometimes), say out my opinions (which are more often than not against the prof's point of view), not care about editing someone else's work (for that, i dont even edit mine) and know that the grade i get (though not always great) is solely on my own credit(or lack of it).

But here comes RMSS report, a pain in the ass. a thorn in my side, a glass in my eye. (how many analogies do u need to get it?!)
