Just came back from Bangkok, its like a dream. You close your eyes, you open and you're back in Singapore. The extra clothes you have with you is but a small reminder of the 4 day trip you just took.
A dream it may be but a good one nonetheless.
Sometimes you just sit and wonder why do things always seem like they're so temporal. Even a trip which cost a bomb and was truly enjoyable can somehow be reduced to a mere memory which can be easily dismissed.
Dont get me wrong, i really did enjoy myself, i just cant come to terms with how easily i can put it aside within 2 hours of reaching back home. Perhaps its cause there were more heavy stuff to handle back home, or perhaps it cause im tired.
Or just maybe cause somehow, deep within the human psyche, we naturally choose to outweigh bad events more than good events, so much so that when we encounter something nice, like a trip to bkk, habit just kicks in to downplay it and fades it away.
I may be talking nonsense but im sure there's some little shred of truth in there.
