term 1 week 2 2005-2006

School has barely started and already im drowning in my pile of self-given homework. Its been two weeks since my alarm clock was permanently set to ring at 7 in the morning.

With the added stress and fear of taking a whopping 5 modules, i have to couple it with the immense weight of having 5 final exams as well (a feat i can assure you no ordinary man would brave). The last time i counted, it was 5 mods, 5 final exams, 4 mid terms, 3 projects, 3 term papers and countless of class participation points to score.

My goal is really simple actually. work myself to a state where i would be a slave to school, forgetting anything and resuming the busy and hectic life that would undoubtly lead me to illness and lethargy. How hard are those consequences when my ultimate goal is to make it to a double degree application and maintain a GPA worthy to be called an honors?

Already, i can feel my laziness coming out and the temptation to skip classes have been visiting me more and more often nowadays. But ah ha! i have overcome my worst enemy which explains for my presence in school this early wednesday morning. but rest assured im not slacking off now for i have just completed revision for my 2 modules that can effectively be summed up as a pain in the ass.

The school panes are getting dirty and i can see a garderner on the railing at the second floot of the school of accountancy. so thats how they clean the greens that resemble the hanging gardens of babylon. (although it is ironic that such a classic timepiece like the hanging gardens be placed in a the midst of SMU, a vision of modern technology and to me, a huge glass consortium) its incongruous yet i love it.

my mind has to rest before class starts at 12.
